Frequently Asked Questions Do you provide accommodation for the holidays or courses? This depends on which holiday you are booking on to. We don't provide accommodation for the one day courses (however we are happy to help you find some). The two day courses can come with or without accommodation (it is your choice). The long distance trails come with either B&B accommodation or with camping fees paid (again you can choose). Can I bring my dog? Maybe. Most of our trips are fine for dogs to walk on and all our instructors love dogs and are happy for them to come along. However, if we have someone else in the group who doesn't like dog or is allergic then we will have to decline. If you are interested in you dog joining your trip emailing us with the trip details and we will let you know if it is possible. Are children allowed on your walks? Yes we are happy to have children on the walks as long as you feel they would be suited to the walk. However, all children must be accompanied by an adult. How are your trips so cheap? We genuinely get asked this one a lot. We keep our prices as low as we can because we are just a small business with very few running costs. Also because we provide no accommodation for our single day walks we can keep it all low priced. Are your instructors safe/qualified? YES! All our instructors have a valid first aid certificate, years of experience in working in the mountain environment and all hold their Mountain Leader (ML) award. This is a nationally recognised award and sets the standard for mountain leaders. What is an ML? This is a Mountain Leader qualification. It means the holder is qualified to take any groups of people on any mountain in the UK (and takes years to achieve). Will the treks still run in bad weather? Will we do everything possible to make sure we can get out in the weather. We will take you out in the wind, rain, sun or hail! However, if it is going to be very dangerous to be out then of course we will not be able to take you. If this is the case we will do our best to adapt the itinerary to still give you a fantastic experience. In the extreme case that this is not possible the trip will be cancelled and you will get a full refund or be transferred on to another trek at a later date depending of your preference.
